I think it is quite worth it. While Mafia 2 and 3 have some issues with their gameplay loop, the mechanics surrounding these games are very satisfying. Mafia 2 DE was not good tho, it was mediocre at best. Quality got barely upgraded, songs got removed and there were more bugs than on the release day of the original (some of the bugs were even removed from the original ed with updates but were still in the DE).
